3. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and maintain access to the platform
  • Generate and deliver your personalized vocational reports
  • Process payments and verify their status
  • Schedule and manage sessions/appointments
  • Send transactional emails (account, password recovery, payment and appointment notifications)

4. Profiling & Automated Processing

We use your questionnaire responses to generate personalized vocational recommendations. To do this, your assessment answers are processed by our AI provider (OpenAI), which interprets your responses and performs web research about careers, universities, courses and salary ranges to build your report. This processing is automated; results are orientative and may contain inaccuracies.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your session and ensure the platform functions correctly.

6. Data Sharing

We may share data, only as needed to operate the service, with:

  • Payment providers — Stripe and PayPal

  • Authentication providers — Google (when you sign in with Google)
  • Email/communications provider — to deliver transactional emails
  • Infrastructure providers — including cloud hosting (Google Cloud Platform)

We do not sell your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and until you request its deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Your Rights

You may request:

  • Access to your data
  • Correction of your data
  • Deletion of your data

To exercise these rights, contact: support@knowyour-path.com

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (including encrypted credentials and secured access) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
