Finding Your Path
From the dawn of society, each person has played a role that gives structure and meaning to society: first hunters and gatherers, then artisans, navigators, scientists, artists, doctors, engineers, digital creators, and an ever-expanding array of specializations. Over time, our ways of contributing have evolved, but the human need to feel that our lives have direction, purpose, and utility remains intact.
However, in an age where options are virtually limitless, the question of which path to choose has become more complex than ever. Choosing a career at 16 or 18 can feel like trying to predict the future with incomplete information: we think we know what we want because we imagine what it will be like to study a certain profession, but we have rarely experienced the reality behind that working life.

Many young people are told repeatedly that they should “choose something they are passionate about,” but passion alone is an insufficient starting point. What truly builds a fulfilling and sustainable career path is the balance between interests, skills, values, motivations, thinking style, learning style, and the type of environment where a person can flourish.
The creation of this exam stems precisely from that reality. We, too, were those young people who believed they had absolute clarity about their path, until the moment came to make real decisions.
We discovered that what we thought we wanted didn't always align with our personality, our abilities, or our authentic way of functioning. And like thousands of students every year, we experienced profound doubts, unexpected career changes, and the feeling of having chosen without enough information. We weren't alone: a large part of our generation changed careers after starting out, and subsequent generations face even more uncertainty. Not because they lack ability, but because no one taught them how to understand themselves holistically before making a decision.
